Griff's welcome home talk......

Last Sunday was Griff's welcome home talk at church. He did such a great job. He talked about the things that he had learned on his mission....obedience, gratitude, humbleness, and love for his family. I could have listened for hours. He talked about how the language was a struggle and how he had to give it to the Lord and then it came. He speaks Spanish so well now. He gave a beautiful testimony in the language of the people he has come to love so much. I hope that he never forgets it, the language, the people and the feeling of being a missionary. Lanae, Cort, Bjorn, Kris and Gabby all came and spent the weekend with us. We had lots of visitors and it was fun to see everyone. What a wonderful example he is to his brothers who will hopefully follow in his footsteps.

Together again....Travis, Griff and Anthony

Manae loved the 6 inches of snow we got while she was here.
The smile on her face is because she is on her way home to "Sunny California".

Adri, Griff, Whitney and Cort.....we took this same picture at
Griff's farewell....hard to believe 2 years have past.

Happy Birthday Griff!

Griffin celebrated his 21st birthday the day after he came home. His birthday was actually the day before he came home, Feb. 25. Anna, Lee and the girls, Kirstin, Ben and Kira were all here to help celebrate. It was so much fun to be all together again! Family is EVERYTHING!

WELCOME HOME ELDER MCNABB!

Griff arrived home February 26 to the Salt Lake City Airport. We all rode down together in Uncle John's 15 passenger van. Lee, Anna and the girls, Whitney and Dave Jackson and Jessica Seppi met us there. We are all so excited! His plane was about 15 minutes late which added to the excitement. He traveled home with another missionary, Elder Stone. It was fun to get to know their family. Austin and Ben went up on the escalator to watch for him to come and gave us the thumbs up when he was coming. I was so excited I started jumping up and down. We all started clapping and screaming when they appeared. I got to give him the first hug....I didn't want to let go. He truely "glowed" with the spirit. He was very obedient and just shook Whitney's hand. We had a wonderful time talking all the way back to Pocatello. It is such a wonderful blessing to have a son fulfill a faithful, obedient mission and then come back shaped by our Heavenly Father's hand. We are so happy to have you home Griff and love you with all of our hearts!
