Here Comes Summer!!!

YaHoo! The weather has been beautiful the past two days. I got my flowers planted, the lawn mowed and felt like I just needed to sit down with a tall glass of lemonade and enjoy the day. I started thinking about last summer...woosh...that was a busy one. Two weddings and girls camp kept me busy but it was a lot of fun. Not a lot on the agenda yet this summer, but I'm sure it will fill up fast! Since I was very negligent about blogging last summer, I guess it is time to catch up.....

I Love Being a MOM

Today is Mother's Day...and I felt the most incredible gratitude this morning as I awoke of being a mother. I love every minute of it. Yes, it is sometimes a little stressing when I am 52 years old and am still doing elementary homework but everyday brings a new surprise, a big hug and kiss or just an "I love you" that melts my heart and testifies to me that there is nothing greater than being a mother. I want my children to know how grateful I am for each of them, for the things they have taught me and for the amazing people that they are. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for his guidance and love. I am so so grateful for my own mother and all that I've learned from her and for all the awesome mom's around me that teach me each day! I just LOVE being a MOM!
