Easter Egg Hunt

Jordan grew this grass at school and then dyed eggs to go in it.
A "real"Easter basket.......

Kira got this rain jacket from "granma and poppa"for Easter.

She loves it and the weather has cooperated since Easter.....it has

rained or snowed everyday so she could wear it.

I guess our children are getting too old. No one wanted to do an

Easter Egg hunt except Kira. It was so much fun watching the excitement

in her eyes and voice as she said, "Oh, there is one" when she would find one.

That is a full basket and a happy girl!

Where is Griff when you need him? He was always the Easter

Egg eater.....Kira actually ate most of this one.

I will go I will do.....

Saturday, the day before Easter, Bill was asked to meet with Elder Robbins, of the first quorum of the seventy and Elder Natress, of the second quorum of the seventy. They were interviewing brethren for the YSA 2nd Stake President. Bill was convinced that they would not call him to that position because he is very much NOT an administrator. He does everything he can to get out of doing paper work whether it's church or work. Besides he so much loves the young adults in his ward and told me often that that calling was an eternal one. He called me after the interview still convinced that he would not be called. About 20 min later he called back and said that President Tingey, the Stake President who was being released, called and said that they would be at our home in 15 min. Gratefully, I had been cleaning house all morning....Whew!
Elder Robbins and Elder Nattress were so kind. They called Bill and of course Bill said, "Yes" amid the tears that sprang to his eyes as he thought of not being Bishop over the young adults anymore.
We attended the Saturday night meeting for Stake Conference and the Sunday morning session. What a wonderful blessing to be a the feet of those called to serve and teach full time. I could have listened to Elder Robbins all day. He has such a wonderful spirit about him. Elder Nattress does too, but you can just feel Elder Robbins experience and knowledge.
Bill will have an adjustment but he is always ready and willing to do the Lord's will. It will be a great growing experience for him. He asked Kelly Laga to be 1st councilor and Bill Green to be 2nd councilor. They will be awesome!

HOpPy EaSteR!

What a wonderful weekend. Lots of surprises, that's for sure. Friday night, Kirstin and Kira came over and we dyed Easter Eggs. Everyone was very careful to do a good job. Jordan and Josh made dinosauruseggs. Kirstin and Kira made tye dyed eggs. And Erin and I did the good old fashioned colored eggs.

Everyone hard at work making their creations.....

Kira and Kirstin tye dying their eggs......

Josh being very careful not to crack his egg and Jordan??? well I

guess he was practicing what his dinoegg was going to look like :).

Kira took her job very seriously.

Here is his creation....what a cute, happy boy!

The finished product...pretty good for a 2 year old.

Erin and I went for the traditional look....

On Friday, Kira and Kirstin came over and we dyed Easter Eggs. It was fun to watch the kids carefully putting the eggs in the colors. Kirstin brought a tye dye kit. Kira was so careful as she put the eye dropper in each color and then put it on the egg.

"This month is such a special one......."

This month is such a special one. It's birthday time you see..." From Erin's birthday on March 25, we celebrate Anna's on March 26, Ryan's on April 1st and Grandma Seppi's on April 6th.
WHEW.....it is PArTy TiMe. We were on our way home from Mexico on Erin's birthday. Grandma Seppi took us out to dinner for her birthday the night before we left and then we celebrated her birthday on Sunday. We celebrated Anna and Ryan's birthday on the 1st when we were in Boise for Ryan's meet. We went to Tucano's, a Brazilian restaurant. It was fantastic. On Sunday, Grandma came in and we celebrated her 85th birthday with dinner, asphalt pie and presents. Oh, that we can all be as young and beautiful as she is when we are 85. Mom you are amazing!

It's my 15th and I'm ready to party! Happy Birthday Er-Bear!

Everybody help out....that's a lot of candles....

Rhonda gave her this sombrero from Mexico.

Ryan is trying to be "macho man" with Erin's sombrero and Ukulele.

A panda pillow pet....another present of Erin's.

Celebrating Anna and Ryan's birthdays at Tucano's in Boise.

It's time to stand up so everyone can sing "Happy Birthday"

We celebrated at home, too with "white chocolate, macadamia nut cake."

Pretty women in green...Grandma Seppi and Kirstin.

Kira wants to help Great-Grandma Seppi blow out the candles.
