It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...Merry Christmas!

Oh how we love Christmas!  It seems to come and go so quickly.  We always do the "real" Christmas story on Christmas Eve.  This year Jordan was Joseph and Kira was Mary and Kirstin's cabbage patch doll from long ago was baby Jesus.  It was the most precious Christmas pageant ever.  Kira was all excited for Christmas and was running around everywhere but as soon as she put on the Mary costume and sat down with baby Jesus she became very reverent as if she knew that this was something very special.  Bill read the story out of the Bible and you could have heard a pin drop.  The wonderful news that Jesus Christ was born to save us all is the most wonderful story of all!

 Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus...
 What a sweet Mary...
Santa is catching up on his long winters nap.
Christmas morning...the Christmas picture on the stairs before running into the living room to see what Santa brought.  We seem to be few in number this year.....
Erin got a puppy!  One that she could keep in the house.  A Christmas miracle!
Josh got his Skylander Giant game.
Jordan thinks he knows what's in this package....
And he was right....a transformer game.
Jordan got exactly what he wanted.....the transformer game and a new camera.
Erin loves Minnie and Minnie loves Erin.
 Here's the tool man himself!

Oh, I think daddy-o is taking a liking to Minnie!
How can you be this beautiful when just waking up?  Merry Christmas Whitney!
Griff got a photo book of the 2012 football season.
Grandma Seppi gave Kira a huge make-up kit.  Kira loves it.
All Kira asked for for Christmas was a Green Poka-dot dress.  I think she might have gotten it....
She did and she looks beautiful in it!

 Berrett, Kirstin and Kira
Kalli came on Christmas Day and all she wanted to do was play in the snow...in her mom's boots.

I don't think Erin is going to put Minnie down...
Berrett painted this painting of Austin and Griff as missionaries for me to give to Bill.  He did an awesome job.  One of my favorite things this Christmas was talking to Austin on the phone.  The best was when I heard him laugh.  Oh, how I've missed that boy.  He got to talk to everyone.  We talked for 2 hours.  It was the fastest two hours ever.  He is doing awesome and absolutely loves being a missionary.  What a blessing and the most wonderful gift of all!

A Few of Our Favorite Things...

Two of our favorite Christmas traditions are our annual Family Christmas Open House and the Christmas Eve Party at Grandpa and Mindy's.  We had the open house on Friday, Dec. 21.  It was later in the season than we usually have it and we didn't have as many people as we usually do.  But, nonetheless, we enjoyed sharing some treats and company with those that did come.
We LOVE to go to Grandpa and Mindy's on Christmas Eve with our family.  There is always yummy food to eat and lots of visiting and laughter.  Again, this was a year where a lot of the married children went to their in laws so there weren't as many people as usual but we still enjoyed every minute of it.  Merry Christmas Everyone!

Erin and one of her best friends....Rebecca Nelson.
Oh, how we love the Hunn family...Erin, Samantha, Whitney and Griffin.
I had to take this picture to show Austin had big Dillon was getting.  We love Angel, Kylie and Dillon.
Kira was so cute in her Christmas dress from last year.  She's ready to open her present from Grandpa and Mindy.
 Berrett and Kirstin.
 Ready, set, go.....open those presents!
Jordan knows he going to get clothes and always says "No Church" when he sees his present.  Mindy is so kind.....she got him a toy "transformer" to go with his clothes so he would be happy!

Daddy-o got a new Bengal golf shirt.
 Erin loves her dress.
 Kira loves her dress.
 Josh loved his new tie.
I think we have a Christmas Angel.....Erin looks just like one in her new dress.

Lunch Date

Griff and Whitney came home the week before Christmas.  Erin was still in school so Griff picked her up from school and took her to lunch.  Griff told her she could go anywhere she wanted and guess where she picked?  You guessed it "Jack in the Box".  That just happens to be Griff's favorite place to eat lunch.  Erin has a double cheeseburger....her all time favorite.  Fun times together!

Best Buds.....Erin and Griff

That's a wicked double cheese burger!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

We love Christmas at our house.  We love the hustle and bustle of getting ready for the big day.  We love the music, the traditions and especially the focus on the Savior.  We are so grateful for his love and example.   It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

Everyone needed to help carry out the tree.....Jordan was actually shopping in the store so he knew what to ask Santa for!
Erin, Josh and Jordan together created this awesome gingerbread house.

It's a White Christmas!

Elder McNabb had his first baptism in December.  Brother John Bell was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Austin was able to go to Mount Hood with him on Christmas Eve Day.  The field is white and ready to harvest. Merry Christmas Austy!

Our Own "Duck Dynasty"

Josh, Griff, Alex and Ryan went pheasant hunting.  The mighty hunters got three pheasant.  Duck Dynasty has nothing on us.....our own Duck Dynasty!

Hannah's Blessing

Today was a special day....Hannah's blessing day.
Great Grandpa McNabb and Grandma Mindy with Hannah.
