SOOOOO CUTE!

Kira got a hold of my camera and took these pictures of herself.  They capture her personality perfectly! Couldn't have done better myself.  She is soooo cute!

Off to see my Girls (and Ryan) in Atlanta!

I couldn't stand it any longer....I had to see Ryan, Cait and Kalli so I took a little trip to Atlanta.  We had a wonderful visit.  We went to the Temple, we explored Chattanooga for the day, and just spent a lot of time visiting and playing with Kalli.  They find out in a month where they will be for the next year and a half.  We are saying our prayers that it will be a lot closer than Atlanta!

Kalli getting ready for the day....cute as a button!
We went to Chattanooga for the day.  Here is Ryan, Cait and Kalli in front of the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
This is for Jordan....he would have loved the old trains.
They had a model of the city when the trains were running.
We had some good old fashioned southern barbecue for lunch.  Ryan's liked these two the best.
Wow....doesn't get any more precious than this.....she is beautiful!
We went throughout the Ruby Falls cave.  At the end was this 280 ft waterfall.  It was so cool.
Here we are ........ we survived Ruby Falls.
 Kalli's all ready for church...
I had so much fun playing with Kalli.
 Self portrait....not so flattering!
 Kalli is playing peek-a-boo.
She has grown up so much.....she even holds her own bottle.

Happy Birthday Griff and Avi!!!

We had a PaRTy!  Griff turned 24 on the 25th of Feb and Avi 5 on the 22nd.  Everyone was here to celebrate except Ryan, Caitlin and Kalli.  We sure missed them!

Kirstin's friend, Berrett, and Griff and Whitney's friends, Kenneth and Brittney came to celebrate with us!

 Avi opening up her present.
Avi and Kira licking the frosting off of the candles.....guess we won't recycle those!

Are you ready for some football?????

Can I just say Deja Vu? From the time that Griffin was big enough to hold a football, he played football.  When he was 18 months old, he would watch Monday Night Football and mimic the players on the TV.  The Longs came for the weekend and it brought all of those memories back.  Branson brought his football helmet and he wouldn't take it off.  He kept asking Griff to play with him.  He was so cute.  Kenneth and Brittney, friends of Griffin and Whitney's, came up too and Branson got Kenneth into the game.  Oh, why do they have to grow up so fast???

Oops....he's traded in the Nyssa Bulldog helmet for the Highland Rams!
Kenneth and Branson going head to head.
Guess we know who won that one....

Bulldog or Ram....he's one cute football player!

GIRLS DAY OUT......

Lee, Anna and the kids came for the weekend.  On Friday, Avi got to stay at our house and have a "girls day" with Kira.  Kirstin painted their fingernails and did their hair just alike.  There aren't two cuter girls anywhere!

They wanted each fingernail painted a different color.

They thought they would try their hairstylist experience on Ariel.
Isn't their hair cute?  Kira is use to having her hair pulled this tight.  Not Avi....she was such a good sport but finally had to have it taken out.

Happily Sewing Together

Erin loves to be warm.  She love to snuggle in her bed with my corn bag.  Well, Kira decided to warm it up in the microwave a little to long and caught it on fire.  So...Erin decided to to make her own rice bag.

And of course, Kira is right there to help!
Mission accomplished.....Erin will be warm again in her bed!

HaPpY BiRtHDaY...Daddyo!

We celebrated Bill's 53rd birthday on the 29th of January.  I always welcome this day for two reasons...one, it's always fun to celebrate birthdays and two, because Bill is finally the same age as me so I don't have to hear that I am older. (:  Happy, Happy Birthday Billy Boy!

 Kira loved the candles...

And loved helping "papa" blow them out1
Kira loves her papa and he loves her.

The party crowd......(is that Jordan and Erin pouting????)
Bill couldn't guess what his birthday surprise was.
He loves this soap....so I ordered 15 bottles to last him through the year!
Kira loves to play with papa....especially when he flies her.

A Day for Love...

Happy Valentine's Day!  I feel so blessed to have a day of love everyday.  I am so grateful for the love my husband and family show me everyday.......not just on Valetines's Day.  I'm not going to lie...I didn't miss at all not having to do school valentines this year.  The first time in 22 years.  It was a wonderful day, filled with LOVE.

Caitlin texted this cute picture of Kalli on Valentines Day.

Here is Kira with her "Love Bug" shirt and princess "lips".

Austin was so sweet....he went to the store and bought roses for all the "ladies" in his life, as he called us.

A little help from our friends....

Our friend, Sara Galloway, helped us with some projects at our home.  We needed to take down some wall paper that has been up since we moved in 25 years ago.  Kira loved helping her.  She even did a little texturing with the mud.

A few days after Sara was done, I noticed that Kira had done a little texturing on the family room wall.  I asked her, "Kira did you do get that on the wall".  She shyly said, "Yes".  Then she rather proudly said, "But I did it for you!"  How do you get mad at that!  Oh how I love that sweet girl.......
