Washington State Medical Association President

My brother, Brian, was inducted as the new WSMA President in September.  It was a fun time to be with family and to be able to honor him in this new assignment.  He has such a caring heart.  He is everything a physician should be.  I am so proud of him and I know that Dad is so proud of him.  Mom was so looking forward to being there but she couldn't go because of her hip.  We missed her. Congratulations Brian!

Happy Harvest

Every year our ward has a Harvest Dinner/Fun Run.  They have been doing it ever since we have been in the ward and that has been 30 years.  It's always well attended with ward members and neighbors up the canyons.  This year our harvest was a hard time.  It rained almost the whole month of August so we couldn't cut the wheat.  By the time it dried out to cut, it had started to sprout on the stalks so it had to go for feed wheat instead of milling quality wheat.  Every farmer in Southeastern Idaho had this problem.  Heavenly Father always blesses us though.  We were able to bring in some wheat and blend it so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.   We are so grateful and love the harvest time of year.  We are so grateful for Erin, too.  She is such a blessing.  She is beautiful inside and out!

Happy Birthday Kira Rose!

Kira turned 6 on September 6.  She was so excited for her birthday.  She loves the movie Frozen and everything about it.  So she chose to have a Frozen birthday party.  We gave her an Elsa dress for her birthday.  She wore it all day long.  Kirstin had a birthday party for her at Ross Park.  It was fun to be with her on her special day.
Happy Birthday Kira Rose!

Welcome Back!

Summer flew by as usual and we found ourselves getting ready for the start of a new school year.  This year we had bookends….Kira starting her first year of school, kindergarten, and Erin starting her last year as a Senior.  The kids are always excited for about 1 week and then they are ready for summer again.  Not for Kira though…she is so excited to be in school everyday she goes.
I can't believe that Erin is a Senior.  Where does time go?  Josh and Jordan are Sophomores and before long they will be Seniors.  Like it or not, school has started.
Welcome Back!
 Cutest 2014 kindergartener!

 Still best buddies…Jordan and Josh.
They are such good friends…Jordan, Erin and Josh.
Erin would love school more if she could take Freddy and Moe with her!

There's No Place Like Home!

As I said before in an earlier post "I Love Summer!"  I love warm sumer days and I love warm summer nights!  One night I just happen to go outside and see this beautiful sunset.  It just reminded me why I love where I live.  There is no place like HOME!

Congratulations Travis and Sarah!

Sarah McNabb and Travis Larsen were married in August.  It was a beautiful day and she was a beautiful bride.  They asked me to decorate for the reception.  I saw the idea of using huge balloons and Sarah loved it.  The reception was at Grandpa and Mindy's.  Kirstin came and helped me with the balloons.  I bought a tank of helium.  The wind was blowing really hard when we were ready to inflate them.  We decided to go into the horse trailer to do it so that they would be contained.  The wind kept whipping the balloons around and Kirstin was getting beaten by them.  We were laughing so hard.  She was a trooper and we got them filled. Sarah is so happy and Travis is a wonderful companion for her. I am so happy for both of them.
Congratulations Sarah & Travis!

The Three Amigos

I came home from my hiatus to California and found that Bill had not bought one, or two, but three scooters.  Austin wanted one to take to school and Bill thought it would be fun for Jordan and Josh to have one to run around on too.  They have had a lot of fun on them.  And the best part is it gives Jordan something to drive so he feels like he is independent and has a driver's license.  Watch our Pocatello…the three amigos are loose!

Life is Good!

Every summer Lanae and I get together for a few days of R & R.  It's always a lot of fun…talking, shopping, laughing, eating and everything else you do with your BFF.  Lanae always makes a special point to celebrate my birthday when I am there.  This year we went to Balboa Island in Newport Beach and rented a kayak and paddled around the Island.  It was so much fun.  Next year we are going to try paddle boarding.  It doesn't matter how old we get…we will never be OLD! I'm so grateful for our friendship.  I truly believe that Heavenly Father brought us together since I lost my sister when I was so young.  We will always be kindred spirits and sisters in heart!
Ready to push off on our adventure…..
This was John Wayne's home...

We made it back safely...
Next we spent some time with our toes in the sand...
This is my kind of paradise….bikes and ice cream.

We always find time to go to the Temple together….such a fun trip with my BFF!

Lazy Days of Summer

I love summer!  I don't think anyone that knows me well disagrees with that statement.  I love the sun and the water!  We spent a lot of time at the pool.  We went to Ross Park more than Lava because Grandma Seppi wasn't in Lava.  I don't care how old I get, I will be looking for someone to go to the pool with me.  And with all these cute grandchildren, I probably won't have to look far!
I LOVE SUMMER!!!

Thirty-four Years and We Couldn't Be Happier

On July 31, 2014 Bill and I celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary.  Who would've thought! I can't believe how fast those years have flown by.  We have 7 wonderful children, 3 of the best daughter/son-in-laws ever, and 5 darling granddaughters.  We love them all so much!  They are what makes our lives complete.  We are best friends and love each other more that we ever thought possible.  I am so grateful for Temple covenants that bind us as a family forever.  I am grateful for Bill's example….for how he provides for our family spiritually as well as physically.  We are so blessed and I am so grateful.
Couldn't be happier!

Oh Happy Day!!!!

Ryan, Caitlin and their girls have been living in Rigby.  It was closer than Twin Falls but still just not close enough.  Ryan opened a new store in Pocatello so that meant a move for them to Pocatello.  HAPPY DAY!!!
It has been so fun to have them 2 1/2 miles away.  They bought a house and are renting out the basement to three ISU women volleyball players.  Caitlin loves having her own home.  She is such a good mom.  Ryan works hard and is a good dad.  I just love having them so close.
HAPPY DAY!!!
