Happy New Year!

Mike, Catherine, John, Cub and Coley Blake came and spent
New Years with us.
We watched football, ate good food and played fun games.
At midnight we lit off fireworks and Chinese lanterns.
The Church had an initiative entitled "Light the World" by doing service 24 ways in 24 days.
Each day in December leading up to Christmas we were encouraged to serve others
each day.  They had a calendar with ideas on how we could do that 24 different ways in 24 days.
It was awesome.  So we decided to do the Chinese lanterns to "Light the World."
It was fun to see them light up the sky.
I hope we can continue to be aware of ways we can serve others everyday
of the year so we can "Light the World" wth the Saviors love in 2017.

Love being together sharing good food and friendship.

Foster Farms Bowl 2016

December 28, 2016
Utah played Indiana in the Foster Farms Bowl.
It was in San Fransisco.
We stayed right in the heart of the city.
There was lots of hustle and bustle.
It was fun to be with Griff, Whit and the girls.
And the UTES won!

Skylar and Austy...see FAVORITE uncle.
This was my view of the city when I was running on the treadmill.
The pep rally...go UTES!
Such a fun season cheering on the UTES with these people...Austin, Bill, Me, Maddie, Griff, Skylar, and Whit.  Can't wait for next year....

2016 Christmas Card

I love sending Christmas Cards...
And I love receiving Christmas Cards from all those who
have blessed our lives.
This is our 2016 Christmas Card.
Merry Christmas 2016

Cutest Family

We couldn't get everyone together for a Christmas picture
so our Christmas Card had a place for each families picture.
Griff and Whit sent these cute pictures of their family.
I think they are just the cutest family!

Merry Christmas 2016

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
We love Christmas.
We have fewer in our Christmas morning stair picture...
but we had everyone for Christmas day at some time.
Christmas was on Sunday this year.
We were so excited to be able to go to church on the Saviors birthday.
We got a huge snow storm on Christmas Eve and they
cancelled church because the snow was so deep.
Made me sad....I love church and especially on Christmas.
Josh, Bill, Griff, Whit, Skylar, Erin, Maddie, Austin, Jordan and Maddie
Maddie wanted a princess guitar....
Skylar wanted a baby doll.
Erin got a tablet...

Dad got a Utah coat...
In fact...Santa brought Austin and Bill matching Utah coats...

Josh got a new coat and snowboarding pants.
Jordan got virtual reality googles...
All the littles love Austy...he is the best Uncle.

Santa brought Austy a trip to the final four NCAA basketball tournament.

Daddy-O got his autographed shirt from Rafael Nadal framed.

Santa brought Griff a Trager smoker.

Ryan Hall and his family gave us the perfect saying...
Go UTES!
I made this pillow beds for all the littles...they loved them.
Oh how I love Christmas and Oh how I love my littles!

Christmas Eve

I am so grateful that we can be together for Christmas.
Everyone comes home and that makes me happy!
We go to Grandpa and Mindy's for a wonderful gathering
of cousins for good food, good conversation and thoughtful presents.
Grandpa and Mindy go to so much work to make it so special.
It is one of our very favorite Christmas traditions.
Afterward we gather at our home for a Christmas devotional, the reading
and acting out of the Nativity, and opening Christmas PJ's.
It was so fun this year to have a brand new baby to be our baby Jesus.
I love each member of our family so much.
Can't imagine ever being without them...
in this life or eternity.
I am so grateful for the Savior and because of Him
we will be with our loved ones forever!
Krayton and Titus...growing up to be best friends.

Christmas Eve Gingerbread Houses

Christmas Eve day always seems like the longest...
We wait for the party at Grandpa and Mindy's...
the Nativity afterwards at our home...
and of course the visit from Santa.
Kira and Josh decided to decorate gingerbread houses to
help the time to go by quicker.
They did such a great job.
We sure love the Christmas season and all the love it brings.
Kira worked so hard on her house.
Sad I didn't get a picture of the finished house...it was beautiful.
Josh worked on decorating a Christmas train....he did a great job. Didn't get a picture of that either. ):

We Love the Lights on Temple Square

We love to go to Temple Square...
Especially at Christmas time to look at the lights.
They never disappoint.
Even with the cold temperatures the grounds are breathtaking.
This is such a wonderful spirit at the Temple.
Families are forever and that begins in the Temple.
We love the Temple.
