Griff and Whit are wide eyed and excited to get there....
We left for Mexico on March 23 in a HUGE snowstorm. In fact, we weren't sure if we were going to make it to Idaho Falls to the airport on time. When we arrived, I soon found that I had dropped Josh's passport when I was putting the information in the computer for the airlines. I was heart sick....I wanted so much to be able to change places with him. He wasn't able to fly with us because he didn't have a passport. He was trying to be so brave and not cry. He was so DISAPPOINTED! We decided that Bill would stay with him and go home and see if they could find it and then find a way to meet us in Los Angeles to fly to Mazatlan together. I couldn't think about anything else all the way to Boise and Los Angeles. I was praying so hard that something would work out. Bill and Josh drove home, found the passport in the computer room at the edge of the desk and took off for Salt Lake to try and get a flight to Los Angeles. They missed the first flight but got on the second one, even though it was overbooked by 3 people, and just barely made our flight to Mazatlan! Josh's whole being lit up when he saw us in Los Angeles. I have a testimony of Heavenly Father's love for an innocent little boy who wanted so badly to be with us. Also His love for a mother who prayed so fervently that something would work out.
