Christmas 2010

This Christmas was the Christmas for the married kids to be at their in-laws. But thankfully, they live close so we still got to all be together at Christmas. Kirstin, Kira, Grandma Seppi and Rhonda stayed Christmas Eve. We went to Grandpa and Mindy's and then came home and watched "Where the Red Fern Grows." Then we had a family Christmas Program. That is my favorite time.....when we sit together as a family and talk about the Savior and what Christmas really means. The Spirit is always so strong. We are so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and the incrediable love he brought into the world. May we all try to love others as he loves us this coming year.

Bill trys out Griff's new headphones...

I love you daddy!

Austin played basketball as a Sophmore....his last year for high school basketball. He had a great year and is a good player. He decided this year that he wanted to spend more time doing family things so didn't play. He had an awesome year in Football this year. He got a pick in a varsity game and got 5 in the JV games. He saved the game in the Poky game with a pick. It is so much fun to watch him......can't wait for his Senior year!

Caitlin's 21st Birthday

Where does time go? Our "taittin" as we so affectionately call her, turn 21 this year. So many fun memories of raising her......bossing her siblings, loving candy, horses and the outdoors were her favorite things to do, so very obedient.....the list could go on forever. I will never forget when Bill brought her home when she was a day old, 8 days after mother's day, and put her in my arms and said "Happy Mother's Day!" She captured my heart at that moment...oh, how I love her!

One, two, three....blow.

"Am I really that old?????"

The birthday gang.....HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAITLIN!

An Elect Lady!

We lost a very dear member of our family on March 26, 2010. Our dear Mother and Grandmother, Joy McNabb, passed away. We were just getting on the plane to come home from Mexico when Bill got the call from John. It was bitter sweet....Oh, how we wanted her to be free from the pain and emotional sorrow in her life, but how we would miss the opportunity to go visit with her and see her. We are so grateful for the knowledge that she is alive, well and happy again. We are so grateful that we will be reunited with her again. And we are so ever grateful for the wonderful influence and love we felt from her in our lives.

Bill, Joy, and Mike at Christmas time.

Joy at Poky High School.

Joy as a precious, little girl. Such a sweet smile.

Karlene, Joy and Karl.....Joy's twin brother and sister.

Joy loved playing basketball and watching her boys play.

Joy with her dog.

Joy loved being around and riding horses.

Graduation from Pocatello High School.

Joy took Home Economics at Idaho State University.

Joy loved being outdoors more than anything.

Joy and Lisa at the sheep camps in Arbon Valley.

Joy's greatest pride and joy...her three sons, Bill, Mike and John.

Joy made each of her grandchildren a quilt. This is Christmas with Jordan, Kirstin, Griffin, Caitlin, Austin, Joshua and Erin. For a time, Joy spent time in each of her sons homes. We were so blessed to be able to serve her as she has served her sons and our families for so many years. We are grateful that our children got the opportunity to spend that time with such an elect lady.

We LOVE Mexico!

We love our yearly get-away to Mexico. This year the whole family was able to go again. Rhonda and Cindy came, too. It is just so relaxing to be in the warm sun and not have the distractions of home. It was so fun to be there with everyone......

This is why we love it so much......so beautiful!

Austy likes the shade more than the sun.

The "girls" decided to relax on the swing.
Rhonda, Caitlin, Erin, Cindy and Lisa.

We celebrated Erin's 14th birthday with a pinata party!

After a week in the water we start looking like fish.
Jordan, Caitlin and Ryan.

Grandpa and Kira enjoying the pool.

Who are those bathing beauties??? Kira, Kirstin & Caitlin.

What's with the long sleeve shirt??? Aren't we at the beach?

Why are rolls so cute on babies and not adults?
Love those legs!

Ready for the beach anyone?

Erin, Josh and Jordan enjoying the pool.

Hey where are your swimming suits?

Kirstin, Kira, Austin, Ben, Griff, Whit, Erin and Bill having
a little refreshment around the pool.

Erin and Rhonda waiting for the Taxi to go to church.

Josh, Cindy and Jordan all ready for church.

HAPPY 14TH BIRTHDAY ERIN!

The "boys" having a drink around the pool.

What a surprise....when we got to church we found out that
our cousin/nephew, Keith McNabb, was serving in that ward. We didn't even know that he was in Mazatlan. He had just been transferred there the
Monday before. Coincidence? I don't think so...it was so fun to see him.
What handsome boys.....Companion, Griff, Keith and Austin.
We had such a great experience at church....even if it was in
Spanish, the spirit was the same. The whole game with Keith
after church!
Waiting for the Taxi to go to church.

That's our baby....Kira Rose.

Josh got to go fishing with the Griffin. So happy!

Time to go home.....but can't wait for next year!
