Happy Thanksgiving and GOODBYE BYU!

Griff and Whit invited us to their home for Thanksgiving. We were all going to be there and then the day before Kirstin found out that she couldn't go. We missed Kirstin and Kira. We took the annual family picture for the Christmas card before dinner. We went across the street from Griff and Whit's. Everyone cooperated and here are the favorites. We chose the second one for our card. I am so blessed with such a wonderful family....so many, many things to be thankful for. The gospel, the Temple, the freedom of our wonderful country, I could go on forever!

This was Whitney's first time she cooked Thanksgiving dinner. It was so, so good. Everything was perfect. We are so grateful for her and how she has blessed our family. Doesn't his turkey look delicious? It was!

Here is the spread......she even made name cards for where we sat. It was so much fun to be all together. We treasure these moments.

We got a hotel room since there were so many of us. It had a water park in it so the kids had a lot of fun. Here Griff and Jordan were connecting in some unusal way.

It was just fun being together. Those are the times I treasure most....the times when our entire family is together! We stayed in Salt Lake until Saturday for the big game........

UTAH vs BYU

This was the last time BYU and Utah would meet as members of the same conference. Utah is joining the PAC 12 next year and BYU is going independent. The fans weren't as intense as in years past...maybe something to do with President Uchtdorf's talk at Oct. conference. The game was close, as usual. BYU was driving to score in the last seconds and had to hope for a field goal to win the game. Kyle told Brandon Burton to block the kick and he did just that with no time left on the clock! It was pandemonium on the field after the game. A great win.....Congrats Utes!



Ryan Hall got onto the field right after the kick and found Griff before he was lifted up and carried off by some of the players......Griff, Tyler and Alex.

The score says it all....another close game but a Ute win!

Manae and Cachi were at the game....see BYU and Utes fans can be friends!
