Well. it looks like those lemon cupcakes worked. Whitney wasn't feeling anything so I drove home with my friends. I got home at 11 pm and at 2pm the next afternoon, Roxanne and I were back on the road to Cedar City because Whitney was in labor. We drove as fast as we could but just missed the arrival of this beautiful princess. She was born at 7:05, thirty minutes before our arrival. Whitney did fine without us and it was a wonderful experience for Griff and Whit to have together.
SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!

OH HOW WE LOVE HER!
There is nothing better than to see your child become a parent for the first time. They hold that precious baby in their arms and look down at her and then they look at you and then look back at the baby and I can just hear them saying in their head, "Do you love ME as much as I love HER?" The love that they feel for their new baby is greater than they have ever felt and suddenly they realize just how much we love them.
I loved watching Griff experience this miracle. He is so in love and such a good daddy. Whitney is a wonderful mother and they are going to be the best parents ever. Madison is a very blessed little girl!
The cute little family....Griff, Whit and Maddie.
She's a miracle....
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being a grandma!
Roxanne and I had to have a little fun with all our helping out so we went for a bike ride and stopped by to say Hi! to Maddie.
Welcome home little one.....
Daddy's little girl.....
Maddie had to sleep on lights because she was a little jaundiced. She was okay as long as her hands were out and she had her binky.
It was so hard to say goodbye.....wish we lived closer so I could have a snuggle everyday!
It's hard to be a stay awake when you are so new...
That looks like a happy papa.
Sweet dreams...
Maddie loves to lay on her daddy's chest and sleep.
