SUU vs Weber

Oops, I got these last two posts out of order as you can probably see by the weather!  We played Weber in Ogden on Nov. 9.  The weather was beautiful.  We didn't even wear coats .  We had so many family and friends come to the game.  Griff had his own fan club.  It was such a fun game to watch.  We struggled on offense at first and then Griff caught a nice pass and ran for some more yardage and started the offense rolling.  Griff even scored a touchdown.  It was so fun to have everyone there and to watch Griff have an awesome game.  We are so blessed!

"Aker"

We love "Aker" (Mrs. Baker). She was Jordan's special ed teacher 1-4 grades and 7-8th grade.  She knows him so well and she has been so good for him.  She started a program last year for the middle schools called "Spread the word to end the word".  Jordan and I helped with the program at Irving last year and at Alameda this year.  She does such a great job of promoting inclusion of all people regardless of special needs.  We need more "Aker's" in our educational system.  She is awesome!

First Family Pictures

Griff and Whit came home for Griff's bye week.  They asked me to take their family pictures.  It was their first with Maddie and turned out sooo cute.  It was a chilly outside and she was a little trooper.

SUU vs ISU

We were so excited when we saw that ISU was going to be on SUU's schedule this year.  We thought it would be a home game for ISU and we would be able to be home for the game and all our family and friends could watch Griff play.  Griff was excited to be able to play one more time in the dome.  It wasn't to be though….it was a home game for SUU.  We still were there to cheer on Griff.  And best of all SUU won!

Maddie fell asleep with her fingers like this…..so cute!
Look who surprised us at the game….the Morgans.  Mike, Keri and Cache.  It was so fun to see them.
Grandpa, Mindy, and Natalie came to the game….who is daddy-o talking to?
Griff got a concussion in the first part of the game.  The trainer took his helmet away from him so he wouldn't go back in….that didn't last long….he was back in and playing hard.

Cute Little Gobblins

The best part of Halloween is the children dressing up.  They are so cute….and our little princesses were the cutest this year.  I did't get to see any of them in person since we went to Universal Studios….I'm so grateful I got pictures of all of them.
Pocohantes (Kalli) and Bubble Bee (Hannah) enjoying their loot.
Pumpkin (Maddie)…her very first Halloween
Whit and Griff with their little pumpkin….

Maddie doesn't go anywhere without her headband….and it always matches perfectly with her outfit.

Austyn Brown and Maddie...
Snow White (Kira) is always a Disney Princess.
She is a perfect Snow White.

Picture Day

Kira's had her very first school picture day.  She got up extra early so Kirstin could do her hair.  She looked absolutely adorable.  She is just like her mom….beautiful and very photogenic.

Love those curls….

Jordan's Dream Come True

Jordan did a little research on the iPad this summer and found out that there was a new transformer ride at Universal Studios.  He kept asking if we could go so I decided that we would go for their birthday. We flew out Wed after school. We stayed at Lanae's on Wed night.  Thurs. was Halloween.  We went to Universal Studios Thurs. and Fri.  We came back to Lanae's and stayed Friday night.  On Sat. we went to the San Diego Temple and did baptisms.  Then we went to La Jolla  Cove where my dad use to take us every year when we would go to California to visit my grandparents.  We didn't have near enough time there since our plane was leaving.  It brought back lots of fun memories.
Jordan was in heaven.  He was so cute when he saw the transformers.  He loved talking to them and getting his picture with them.  It wasn't crowed at all on Halloween but was busier on Friday.  It was worth every penny to watch Jordan's eyes light up and feel his joy of being there.
Happy Birthday Jord and Josh!

Ra Ra thought she'd start her day with a "small" cup of cocoa.

Happy 15th Birthday Josh & Jord!

The two amigos turned 15 on Oct. 21!  Happy, Happy Birthday to YOU!  They are such good boys.  They are best friends, too.  Josh is so protective of Jordan.  This is the first year that they have been at the same school since 5th grade.  Josh has lunch with Jordan instead of going off with his friends.  Heavenly Father made sure that they were twins so Jordan would have Josh to help him.  They have both been such a blessing in our lives.  Our family would not have been complete without these two cabooses!  We love you sooooo much!

 Jordan and matches????
Those are some pretty crazy faces…Josh, Jord, Kira and Erin.
Ready to blow out ALL of those candles...
