SUU played Eastern Washington on their infamous red turf this year. The sun was shinning on the turf and it really made your eyes hurt it was so bright. I flew up on Thursday so I could spend a couple of days with my friend Carrie Cone who lives in Kennewick, Washington. We had a nice visit and even went to a session in the Columbia River Temple. I loved it.
Then I drove over to Spokane and stayed at Brian and Kathleen's on Friday. Nathan was home on fall break so it was a fun to see him. I have loved being able to see Brian and Kathleen twice this fall. Whitney and Maddie flew in on Saturday. Dave, Roxanne, Grandpa and Mindy also came to the game. We played well in the first half and then the pulled ahead in the second half.
We sure love watching Griff play football!
