This year there were 5 ISU women basketball players on the team from Bill's stake. We have enjoyed cheering them on and getting to know them. We went to Montana when they played Montana and Montana State.
One of the team members is Lindsey Reed. We have become really good friends with her and her family. When the team made it to the Big Sky Championships, we knew we had to go and support them. The games were played in North Dakota.
We flew up on Thurs. They had a game that night against Eastern Washington. It was an exciting game and ISU ended up winning 70-65. Lindsey had an awesome game. The next night they played North Dakota, the #1 seed in the tournament. ISU lost 53-78. The only flight we could get to come home wasn't until Sunday morning. We didn't want to sit there 2 days so we came home with the team on the bus. It was a straight 17 hour bus ride….a long ride but at least we didn't have to drive.
