We decided to go to Hawaii this year for spring break instead of Mexico. It was our first time and we had a wonderful time. We stayed on the North Shore in a house right across the street from the beach. The beach was called Turtle Beach and it had sea turtles that would come onto the beach everyday. We kept very busy....we went to the Temple, the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeling with the dolphins and to Pearl Harbor. Cindy flew over and spent a few days with us. We were on the go so much that dad said, "when are we going to relax?" We had a fun, fun 5 days!

We got off of the plane and went to Waikiki beach before we changed our clothes. It wasn't very long before the kids were in the water in their clothes....
This cool tree is on the Temple grounds.
Jordan, Cindy, Josh, dad, me and Erin.....
I love the Temple...they always have an incredible spirit and are so beautiful!
Outside the baptistry....

Jordan loved all of the swords...
Erin is eating a purple roll made from poi....it was very good.
Here we are at an official luau...
Erin with her birthday pineapple smoothie...
Jordan loved that you could turn up the sunglasses and that there were clear glasses underneath.
So the only day it rained all day was the day we went snorkeling....
Here are the turtles on the beach by our house.
Jordan and Josh loved playing in the water.
Where is Josh...I think he just got eaten by a wave.....
Josh and Cindy going out to catch a wave.
Jordan loved digging in the sand.
Look who we ran into....the Bell's, Troy and Jamie and their kids. We had a famous snow cone with them on the North Shore.
Erin is beautiful!
Josh couldn't wait to go to Pearl Harbor. So much history...we gained so much respect for those who have given their lives for our freedom.
A perfect ending to a perfect vacation.....we are so blessed!!!!!
