Happy Birthday AMeRIcA!

We LOVE the 4th of July!  We always start the day at the Inkom 4th of July parade.  It is the best parade in the area....lots of patriotism and community spirit.  The McNabb Family is always well represented.
We went to Lava after the parade.  Oh how well I remember the days of the 4th of July in Lava of my youth........many hours working at the pool with millions of people, walking the streets after work meeting new people and watching the fire works. We always had so much fun.  The worst part of the 4th was that it always felt like summer was over after the 4th.
Brian, Kathleen and Nathan were at mom's this year.  We went swimming, barbecued and watched the fireworks.  The fireworks were beautiful and the finale.....the waterfall.....was breath taking.  We had a wonderful day.  How grateful we are for our freedom, for the many lives that others have sacrificed so that we can have the blessings of this great nation.  The USA is the greatest country on Earth. Now....let's just hope that summer isn't really over!

Grandpa McNabb riding his "John Deere" in the parade.

One of the McNabb entries......God Bless America!
Jordan jumped on this McNabb float with Natalie and all of the cousins.
Like father....like son.....two of the best men around!
We are so grateful for our heritage.  John, Karen, cousins, Michael and Bill.
We played at the park before we went to Lava.  Kira loved the swings. She'd say, "push me higher."
The "Oreo" cousins......Austin and Nathan.  Look out girls they are mighty handsome.
Here are the chefs for our barbecue....Brian and Mom.  It was "oh, so good!"
Ben, Kira and Nathan enjoying grandma's patio.
I love my little brother....Brian.

The Parade watchers....Austin, Whitney, Griff, Jordan, Bill and Erin.  Where is their candy????
