Happy Birthday Josh & Jord

It's hard to believe our youngest children just turned 14. Where does time go?  Seems like just yesterday they were terrorizing the neighborhood....going into the neighbors homes and taking their toys, setting fires in their front yards and running around without any clothes on. What a fun adventure we've had with these two. We wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING!  They have been so much fun.
Oh how they love Grandma Cindy.....She surprised them and came up for their ordination and birthday dinner.
Jordan, Grandma Cindy, Josh and Kirk.
We have the best Bishop.  Bishop Eggleston came to help dad with the ordinations.  Erin, Bishop Eggleston, Jordan, Josh, Dad and I.
What cute boys....they have so many people that love them... Kirk, Rhonda and Grandma Cindy.
Kira was there to help celebrate...she loves primary!
This was Jordan's reaction when he saw Grandma Cindy at the church....total surprise.

                                  ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY.....HAPPY TO YOU!

Game # 8....SUU vs Weber St.

I can't believe how close every game has been. SUU played another heart breaker on Sat.  We struggled at first. Weber was ahead 14-3 at halftime. We did play better in the second half. We were driving in the final minutes of the game down by 8 points. Griff made an awesome catch and stretched over the end zone marker to score the touchdown. We went for a 2 pt conversion to tie the game. We didn't get it. We tried an on sides kick and Weber got it and then kneed the ball down to win. Every conference game we have lost has been by less than 7 points. We are so proud of Griff though. He plays his very hardest every play and is such a team player. Our favorite is # 3!

I sent these socks to Austin.  He wears them every game day.  GO T-BIRDS!

There's Nothing Sweeter Than a New Baby!

Josh is a Life Scout!

Josh loves EVERYTHING about scouting.  He loves camping, merit badges, being outside and especially his scout leaders.  He had a great time at scout camp.  He earned enough merit badges to be advanced to a Life Scout.  He is on his way to his Eagle.  We are so proud of you Josh!

Receiving his advancement at the Court of Honor.....
 A pin for his mom...
 A scout salute for Josh!

SUU vs Montana

I don't think I have been to a funner game.  Montana fans are crazy.  The stadium seats 25-30,000 and this was the 2nd largest crowd in history.  Montana fans had spent time before the game socializing, drinking and getting ready for the game.  Can I just say that they were LOUD!  But, SUU came to play.  Griff played a lot which was so fun to watch.  Dave, Roxanne, Lee, Anna, Hailey, dad and I were there to cheer him on.  The odds had us at less than a 5% chance of winning.  Well, we proved them wrong.  When the final buzzer sounded....we had beaten Montana at Montana 30-20!
Woohoo.....GO T-BIRDS!
Hailey and Wilbur at Famous Dave's.
Lunch at 5 Guys and Fries before the game.
Ready or not.....here come the T-Birds....

We were so happy that we won!
Whitney had to work on Friday so she couldn't come.  We missed her sooooo much!  We love #3!

HaPpY BiRtHdAy KiRsTiN!

Kirstin's 27th birthday fell on Wednesday this year.  She has school everyday....even on her birthday.  Kira and I decided that we needed to send her a birthday message.  I wrote the words and Kira drew the balloons and insisted on wearing the pom pom on her head.  I don't think there is a cuter birthday greeter.....Happy Birthday Mommy!

Kirstin gets an hour lunch break so dad and I took her to Chili's for a birthday lunch.  Nothings says Happy Birthday better than cake and ice cream!

We had Kirstin's birthday dinner on Sunday.  Her good friend and roomie, Amy Wallentine, came to wish her a Happy Birthday!
Here are the birthday partiers....Jordan, Amy, Josh, Erin, Rhonda, Kirstin, Kira and Chris Belcher.
 Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
Chris' birthday was yesterday so we sang Happy Birthday twice....
Make a wish and blow out those candles....

Kira and Jordan

Kira and Jordan are best friends.  She follows him around and he is so patient with her.  They play really well together.  Here are some fun pictures I took of them this week:

Jordan loves Transformers.  Grandma Cindy gave him this Optimus Prime mask for his birthday.
Kira went shopping with me and loved this pumpkin....it's almost as big as she is.

Favorite Weekend...

I love conference weekend.  I look forward to it every six months.  It is my favorite.  This one did not disappoint.  We had such a great weekend.  The kids were out of school on Thursday and Friday for teacher inservice.  We drove to Utah and dropped Josh and Jordan off at Cindy's.  They were so excited to spend a few days with her.  Erin came with Bill and I and we went to the Utah vs USC game.  It was fun to see Griff's buddies play.  Utah fought hard but ended up losing.  I felt so bad for them.  We stayed in Salt Lake because Erin had a doctor's appointment on Friday morning.  Dr. Crombie is so good to her.  They spend most of the time talking about animals.....and not normal animals by any means....snakes, turtles, etc.  Erin loves it!  Dr. Crombie said that she is doing wonderful from her surgery.  What a girl!  She is amazing!
After her appointment, we went to visit Timmie Bowie.  She has aplastic anemia.  She has been so sick for about 6 months.  She is in Primary Children's hospital.  She was having a good day when we went to visit her.  She and Erin had a icee together.

We left from visiting Timmie and drove to Cedar City. We stopped for gas at Beaver and Erin found the perfect "Papa Bear Chair".

Bill and Griff stayed at Griff and Whit's to watch the BYU vs Utah St game.  Whitney, Erin and I drove to St. George to see Aladdin at Tuacahn Theatre.  I thought it was going to be chilly but the temperature was in the 80's the entire play.  It was really good and so much fun.
What a cute Jasamine and Genie!
SUU played their sixth game on Saturday.  They played Sacramento St.  We were ahead 16-7 at halftime.  I thought for sure we were going to win.  Bjorn, Kris, Gabby and Maddy and Kenneth and Britney came to the game.  It was fun to all cheer Griff on!  Griff scored his first touchdown.  I started screaming....I was so excited.  Bjorn yelled from behind me, "Who raised that boy?"  It was awesome!

It was so fun to have the Trejo's and Kenneth and Britney at the game.  We all went to dinner at Cafe Rio after the game.

 Best Buds....Scotty and Griff!

To top off the weekend was a wonderful General Conference.  We are so blessed to have a Prophet and leaders that are so close to the Spirit and can guide and direct us in the ways that Heavenly Father wants us.  Some of the highlights:

President Monson:
Young men can now serve missions at 18.
Young women can now serve missions at 19.
Two new Temples announced.....Tucson Arizona and Peru.

Sister Ann Dibb:
I am a Mormon. I know it. I love it. I live it.

Sister Burton:
Observe and Serve.

Elder Nelson:
Ask a missionary....

Elder Holland:
Do you love me?

President Eyring:
Do we have a pavilion covering us so that we don't feel the promptings of the Spirit?

And so much more.  I can't wait for the Ensign to come out so I can study each of the talks more in depth.  We are so blessed.
