SUU vs Portland St.

SUU played their 4th game of the season at Portland St.  I couldn't believe I was so close to Austin and couldn't see him.  It was all good.  Whit, Anna and I had a fun time shopping at the Saturday Market and looking around Portland.  Nathan is at University of Portland so he came to the game.  It was fun to visit with him.  Grandpa and Mindy also made the trip.  It was an exciting game with SUU coming from behind right at the end of the game to win.  Final score SUU 49 Portland St. 42. Griff caught a pass for a 2 point conversion!  It was so so fun!

This is a sign that Grandpa and Mindy passed on their way into Portland.  This is where Austin is living right now.  Oh! if took such discipline not to go see him.

After the game we went to dinner with the Valentine's, a family that live in his ward that have him over to dinner once it week.  It was fun to visit with them and hear stories of Austin.  They said that he was a good missionary.  Music to my ears!
