Football season is in full swing. The T-birds played Cal for their second game of the season. Whitney, Anna and I went to the game. We flew into San Francisco Sat. morning and went straight to the stadium. It was a beautiful day. Perfect football weather. After last week and the spanking we got from Utah State, I didn't know what to expect. The T-birds played tough, though. We were ahead after the first quarter and within three going into the fourth quarter. We had three turnovers in a row that Cal capitalized on for scores and so the score wasn't quite as close at the end. I was very proud that we played so well against a bigger opponent. After the game, the coaches and players from Cal had some positive things to say to Griff about his talent and the way he played. No matter the outcome. I just love being there, watching Griff play, and supporting him. Can't wait for next week.
GO THUNDERBIRDS!
The score after the first quarter....
Look who's on the big screen....
Best traveling buddies ever!
After the game, we came back one the Oakland Bridge....such a pretty sight!
We spent the night in the airport....another experience in itself. I scared the poor custodian to death when I jumped up to make sure he wasn't stealing our phones. He got me back though.....spent an extra long time vacuuming around us when we were trying to sleep. I must admit...I deserved it!
