Look who's 6 months old!

"Let them cry, let them giggle, let them sleep in the middle….just let them be little…"
I love this song.  It speaks from my heart.  I love babies and children.  I love to see them grow and learn new things.  I love watching them discover their sweet personalities.  I love their innocence, their hugs and kisses, and how they love unconditionally.
Why do they have to grow up so fast?  Maddie is so cute.  Those big blue eyes melt my heart. She is getting the cutest personality.  She is a tease just like her daddy.  I can't believe she is already 6 months old.  I wish I could freeze time so that these sweet grand babies would stay little a little bit longer….I know from experience how quickly their mommies and daddy grew up.  So if I could have the wish of my heart it would be:
Just let them be little….

Happy Birthday Brandon

Brandon turned 30 years old on January 4th.  We celebrated with dinner, cake, ice cream and presents. It has been so fun to have him in our lives.  He is a very kind and positive guy.  We gave him some new basketball shoes and a triple combination with his name on it.  He opened the shoes first and really like them.  He opened the scriptures and didn't really know what they were.  I explained what they were to him and then he turned it over and saw his name imprinted on it.  He was so excited.  He said that it was the best birthday present he received.
Happy Birthday Brandon!
The whole goofy gang….Jordan, Josh, Brandon, Kirstin and Erin.

You are LOVED!
We wondered if Chalice was going to ever come into this world.  She was due on December 29.  We half expected that she would be a Christmas baby, and then when that didn't happen we thought she'd be the New Years baby.  She fooled all of us and came when she was ready!  She was well worth the wait.  She is beautiful….lots of black hair and the cutest little nose and mouth.  She is so so sweet.  We love each of these perfect grand babies.  So new from our Heavenly Father.   We are so blessed!
                           Chalice a few hours old...
Kalli couldn't wait to hold her little sister.
The whole family….Hannah, Cait, Kalli, Chalice and Ryan.
 Cait and "her girls".
So precious….a little bit of Heaven.
 Coming home….they both look great!

Being a grandma is the greatest blessing…my arms are filled with LOVE!

Elder McNabb's Christmas

Don't you just love that smile?  Austin is allowed to be on Facebook 1 hour a day now and so it is so much fun to see his pictures.  Yes, I did pirate these off of his Facebook page…isn't that a mom's prerogative?  Anyway, it's so fun to see him smiling, happy and doing the Lord's work.
(PS. I don't know who any of these people are except the Elder's and Sister's so he will have to tell us when he gets home!)

Christmas 2013

Everyone was home this Christmas except for Austy. But we did get to talk to him for 2 hours on the phone! Grandma Seppi, Rhonda and Melanie Parada also joined us for Christmas.  It was wild and crazy as usual but we wouldn't want it any other way.  We are so grateful for the Christmas spirit….the music, family, giving of ourselves and thinking about others.  We are so grateful for our Savior and his birth and life that shows us how to be happy. We are so grateful that He provided a way for us to be families eternally and live with him again someday.
Merry Christmas from the McNabb Family!

Madison's first Christmas!
Kalli and Hannah got a kitchen from Grandpa and I.
Hannah and Kalli got this wonder horse from Santa.

What a cute girl...
Kira looks like a real mermaid….so cute!
The last two years we have had a bon fire on Christmas night to burn all the paper and boxes.
Looks like we have some sleepy family from all of the festivities.
