One of the best parts of Christmas when you have a missionary in the field is to be able to talk to them on Christmas. We were all looking forward to talking to Austy. He said he would call at 11 am our time and he did…right on the dot. We all got to talk to him. The 2 hours we were on the phone with him just flew by. I could tell he had matured in all areas of his life, but especially spiritually. I'm so grateful for his service. I'm so grateful for the gospel and that it gives young men and women the opportunity to grow and develop at this time in their lives. The gospel is true, our Heavenly Father and Savior love us. Thank you for sharing this with the people of Portland.
